The Clean Water Initiative is a comprehensive project aimed at providing sustainable access to clean drinking water for over 15 remote Maasai villages in Kajiado County, Kenya. This multi-phase project involves drilling boreholes, installing solar-powered water pumps, constructing storage tanks, and establishing community-managed water points. The project addresses the critical water scarcity affecting over 3,000 families who currently walk an average of 8 kilometers daily to access water from unreliable sources. Our approach focuses on community ownership and sustainability, training local water committees in maintenance and management.
