Widows Encouragement & HIV/AIDS Foundation is a non-Government organisation based in Arusha, Tanzania and founded in 2017 by Theresia Mollel. It is registered under the following registration number: 00NGO/ 0009/189.

WEHAF has a passion for empowering widows, children, and victims of HIV/AIDS to cultivate better lives for themselves and their families. Our mission is to mobilize, motivate, and advocate for these vulnerable groups in the areas of health, social justice, and economic empowerment. We aim to create the environment, the knowledge, and the confidence necessary in order for these women to earn a living and take on leadership roles in their local Communities.  We envision a community where widows, children, and HIV/AIDS victims’ livelihood is ensured, no matter their circumstances.
